Job Responsibilities:

1. Assists Area Business Manager to develop and execute short to long term business strategies for Greater China
? Monitors macro market trends, lubricants industry development as well as competitive landscape and advise Area Business Manager on their impact to business unit’s short to long term strategies
? Provides business and financial analysis to facilitate strategy discussion and decisions
? Develops BU’s business strategies and action plans in conjunction with other leadership team members
? Develops annual business plans and ensure alignment with global strategic direction and objectives
? Prepares materials to present and communicate BU’s strategies and business performance to key stakeholders in the organization

2. Formulates and executes pricing strategies to drive profitable growth and results
? Establishes list price and authorized distributors’ price to optimize profitability
? Provides pricing analysis and recommendations on large tendering and strategic account business
? Reviews product costs trends and update look-forward-tool on a monthly basis to ensure up-to-date costing is incorporated and considered in all price reviews and decisions
? Reviews special price and discount requests and makes recommendations for approval
? Supervises day-to-day price maintenance into the SAP system
? Supervises checks on customer billings to ensure pricing information is correct
? Provides pricing communication materials for distributors/customers

3. Maintains high OE and compliance standards within the Finished Sales organization
? Provides regular reinforcement on Chevron’s compliance requirements
? Drives completion of all Chevron compliance training
? Drives improvement of LPS stewardship and usage
? Manages the sales contract process to:
 - Ensures consistency with corporate policy, governmental regulations and local laws
- Provides recommendations for mitigating contractual and commercial risks
- Improves collaboration and alignment between management, legal and front lines sales
- Maintains integrity and record of all sales contracts
? Performs periodic V&Vs on compliance performance

4. Ensures effective capital stewardship
? Assists ABM to review marketing plans, tactical programs and budget usage
? Supervises and provides analysis and recommendations on deferred marketing projects
? Supervises and provides analysis and recommendations on distributor incentive program
? Performs V&V on marketing activities, deferred marketing and distributor incentive program

5. Aligns, motivates, and develops staff to achieve organizational capability required to support the business:
? Advises ABM on issues pertaining to staffing, incentive and organizational capability development
? Coaches, manages and mentors staff
? Administers the Sales Incentive Program including annual review of metrics, calculation of the payout and stakeholder communication
? Manages the competency development specialist

6. Provides supervision and maintenance of all critical sales processes including:
? Profitability Model (MOS)
? Demand forecasting
? Sales & Operations Planning
? MBR
? Other evolving sales processes and system support

Job Requirements:

? Bachelor’s degree or above in finance accounting and business management, MBA preferred
? More than 10 years of business planning, analytical, reporting experience in multinational companies
? On-the-job experience in developing pricing strategies and analyzing the impact of pricing on volume and margins will be an advantage
? Demonstrated people management experience
? Strong communication and presentation skills
? Proven competency in analytical and problem solving, planning and execution, and strategic thinking
? Demonstrated collaboration, interpersonal skills and teamwork
? Advanced PowerPoint & Excel skills
? Proficient in Chinese and English both written and oral to liaise with the business and counterparts
