RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Act as the Malvern Tender response coordinator for all tenders ensuring deadlines are met and the tender response is complete and fit for purpose. Be the point of contact for the Client. Follow up all tender submissions and report on outcomes.
? Liaise with Account Managers and Product Technical Specialists to:
o engage with tender opportunities prior to Grant/ Tender submissions.
o ensure an accurate and professional response is delivered gaining price approval by Sales.
? Create a robust document library archive to support tender document material. Identify any missing documentation and work with Product Managers and Sales Management to develop missing support material.
? Contribute as required to market research, Tender response effectiveness, competitor Tender effectiveness and develop the Tender Response strategy.
? Review Tender Terms and Conditions of Contract. Liaise with the Contracts Officer and Sales Manager to agree deviations prior to tender being submitted.
? Act as the lead in written submission of re-tenders and co-ordinate input from local staff and other colleagues including Sales Teams and Product Managers.
? Coordinate and keep current changes in Client specific Tender scoring procedures.
? Track grant applications, University Chairs and new Professors.
? Build effective relationships with key funding bodies and partners to enhance tender success rates and to support new business proposals.
? Provide guidance documentation to the Malvern Distributor network for tender/ grant applications and submissions.
? Implement continuous improvement in tendering practice, including responding to feedback from tenders and learning from colleagues.
? Assist in prospecting efforts, identifying target audiences, collecting contact info, and reaching out to relevant contacts with relevant messaging
? Utilize effective mix of research tools – Baidu, Google, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, portals, web databases, to find targeted companies/contacts
? Present results of prospecting efforts/campaigns to management
? Maintain continuous improvement in Malvern’s ability to find and engage specific segments of customers
? Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product colleagues – local and global – to achieve Malvern’s business goals
? Assist with other related sales and marketing projects as directed by team
? Proactive and self-driven for results.
Skills & Experience
? Bachelor degree
? 3-5 years of experience of Tender in Research and Analytical Instrument
? 3-5 years working experience in foreign compan
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills, being highly competent in technical writing with strong attention to detail.
? Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
? Ability to work independently with initiative, possessing sound ethical business judgment.
? Adaptive to a dynamic and changing environment.
? Professional disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of commitment.
? Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener
? Excellent web research skills – Baidu, Google, Linkedin Sales Navigator, other sources
? Excellent project manager and able to work effectively with global teams
? Knowledge of prospecting, identifying leads from targeted audience
? High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
