Job Title:SERVICE DELIVERY SUPPORT ENGINEER (L3)
Position Summary:
The Service Delivery Support Engineer (L3) provide a service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational through proactively identifying, investigating and resolving technical incidents and problems and to restore service to clients by managing incidents to resolution. Their primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement conditions. The Service Delivery Support Engineer (L3) focuses on third line support for high complexity incidents.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
In this position you will be required to:
1. Ensure that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.
2. Identify problems and errors prior to or when it occurs and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail.
3. Investigate second line support calls assigned and identify the root cause of incidents and problems.
4. Report and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary.
5. Provide telephonic support to clients when required.
Requirements: Education, Training and Experience
? Information Technology Degree
? CCIE Qualification
Experience
? 8 – 10 years’ work experience
? 6 years’ work experience as a Senior Support Engineer within the Technology Industry
