Job summary

Red Hat's Solutions Architecture team is looking for a Regional Director to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you'll make a significant impact in evolving the next generation of solutions architecture teams in the cloud world. You'll help our teams transition their approach, tools, and skills to ensure relevant conversations and outcomes with customers. You will also serve as a thought leader in the role, engagement models, and productivity through a matrix organization. As a Regional Director, you'll collaborate closely with sales teams on their plans and priorities, and you will help chart the course to support those plans. This is a great opportunity to play an important, strategic role in representing our leading-edge open source solutions.

 
Primary job responsibilities

    Provide thought leadership for the pre-sales function
    Evolve onboarding, enablement, and capability-building programs
    Champion end-customer-focused collaboration with other internal teams
    Build solution capabilities in our pre-sales phases, working jointly with the sales stakeholders
    Accelerate specializations and efficiencies in the pre-sales functions

Required skills

    12-15 years experience in the services industry
    Customer, people, and organization leadership experience
    Record of leading successful pre-sales teams
    Technical background as an IT professional to relate and earn credibility with the team; expertise in middleware or infrastructure platforms is a major plus
    Business development knowledge
    Go-to-market experience
    Change management experience
    Ability to deal with ambiguity
