Associate Designer

Summary of Position:
Based in our Beijing office, corporately this position supports the Managing Art Director but may be assigned to projects when appropriate. This position is a visionary; someone who can respond to artistic direction creating visual images through sketch, Photoshop and/or Sketchup. Additionally this position helps liaise design requests and requirements between the US and China offices.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
?Assist with the conceptualization and implementation of visual design and content across assigned client deliverables (such as final and/or WIP assets, presentations, look books etc.) within the Vision & Content department as established by the Senior Design staff.
?Assist with clear communication of design direction established by Senior Design Staff to the team and maintaining that direction consistently throughout the production process.
?Coordinate design communication and tasks with other departments, including taking design meeting notes, meeting follow up, assist with directing external art directors/concept artists, to ensure schedule and quality.
?Assist with drafting of presentations, translation of content materials or review translations.
?Additional tasks as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:
?Excellent verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
?Understanding of environments, perspective, scale and color.
?Strong sense of illustrative design, or special design (preferably both)
?A working proficiency in Photoshop, Sketchup, Keynote, PPT, Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
?Strong design communication skills.
?Ability to multi-task as well as focus when needed.
?Ability to work well in a team environment.
?Highly ethical with an ability to maintain information confidentially.

Minimum Job Requirements:
?Degree in Theatre Design, Architecture Design, Landscape/ Environmental Design, Art or else related design major is a must.
?Minimum bachelor degree is required; Intermediate level English in both oral and written; above 3 years' related work experience in design industry is preferred. 举报 分享
