If so, Windows Azure Storage and High Performance Computing team is what you are looking for. We are building Microsoft’s Cloud storage solution - Windows Azure Storage as well as Microsoft’s Cloud Big Compute solution - HPC in Azure. Windows Azure Storage is a massively scalable, highly distributed, ubiquitously accessible storage system, designed to scale out and serve the entire world, with many Exabyte of storage. Integrated with the Windows Azure platform, HPC is tasked to take high performance computing to new heights. It aims to enable massively scalable computation platform in the Cloud with the computation power of 100s of 1000s of supercomputers, and make such massive computing power accessible to everyone. This new capability will not only bring new business opportunities in the billion-dollar HPC industry, but it will also open up numerous opportunities to make major breakthroughs in hard problems bounded by computation resources, such as life science, medical/cancer research, etc.

We are looking for a Test Manager who is passionate about distributed storage and high performance computing to lead efforts in both areas. To be successful in this area you must thrive dealing with durability, availability, and concurrency, and you should be passionate about high performance computing, storage systems, and cloud technologies. You will be challenged on a daily basis, as you test the quality of the largest storage and computation platform Microsoft will offer.

Requirements for the position are:
- Passion for distributed systems
- 5+ years of experience building scalable distributed storage systems and/or high performance computing systems
- 5+ years of experience in developing commercial distributed systems software
- Proficient at C++ and C#
- Experience with distributed programming models
- Experience with multi-threaded/parallel programming
- Excellence in software engineering practices and coding
- Proven ability to plan, schedule and deliver quality software in a fast paced and agile environment
- 5+ years of experience in managing and building teams; prior experience as Manager preferred
- BS+ in computer science or related fields
