The Azure China team is located in one of the newest R&D facilities in the greater Shanghai metropolis. It is a growing team with an excellent track record over the past three major releases of Windows Server and Azure. We are working on providing administrative tools, runtime and scheduler that to help organizations of all sizes realize full potential through pervasive, accurate and timely modeling of reality in the cloud.

The key responsibilities for this position include:
Implementing effective & efficient test automation to verify Windows Azure services and products. Providing complete test coverage for runtime, data movement features in Windows Azure, including security, performance, reliability tests. Investigating product issues, provide analysis, and opening high quality bugs. Working with developers, PMs and key partners to drive product issues to resolution. Understanding customer needs & competitive analysis to help define product direction.

Basic qualification:
- Solid programming and debugging skills with 3+ years of experience in C#/C++
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience working in software development or test development
- String team player with excellent communication skills

- Capable of learning new technologies at a rapid pace

Desirables include:
- Test automation framework design
- Passion for software quality, delivering high scale services and achieving engineering excellence
- Proactive, self-motivated and result oriented
- Strong proficiency in software design patterns and object oriented programming using C#/C++; experience with Azure, SQL
