Main Responsibilities
1. Implement the purchasing and sourcing as per brand teams’ requirements and design concept, proposing feasible alternatives, production schedule and delivery plan to ensure both sides take all the key factors into account.
2. Participate in the bidding and negotiation to achieve cost reduction against budget.
3. Control risks concerning production, transportation, storage and usage by involving QA team in the product development stage, aligning with related parties to reach a consensus for the impacts if necessary.
4. Localize the display materials and techniques as per the global guidelines, regulating technical specifications in favor of quality control, as well as price stability.
5. Consolidate and allocate the regional merchandizing budget, optimizing the investments based on regional conditions.
6. Manage the relationship with key suppliers, evaluating the vendor performances to benefit the collaborations.
7. Conduct the market research and analysis, sharing the trends and opportunities to related parties for self-innovation.
Profile
1. At least 6 years of experience in purchasing or merchandizing, ideally with wines & spirits working background.
2. Good communication and negotiation skills.
3. Pro-active mindset to interact internal and external coordination.
4. Ability to manage cross-functional projects.
5. Well language skills in Chinese and English.
