Position: IT PM User & Communication Services

Division/Department: ITP Region China

Location: Beijing

Main goals and objectives:

High quality performance and availability of centralized IT operational services for Regioo Supplier management and coordination

? Contract management

? Project planning and execution

? Establishment of processes and corresponding documentation (process and knowledge management) and reporting

? Technical and functional supervision of contracted parties

? Support budget planning processes, control the projects and services within the planned budget

? KPI-driven continuous improvement and optimization based on VW Group and international standards for IT services and projects

? Technical consultancy for IT services in all regional companiesn China in order to achieve the following objectives:

Your Responsibilities:

IT Services for UHD, communication/mobile services (Video & Web conferencing and telephone service), Incident and Problem management

? Handle incident, problem, complains, knowledge and escalation following group and ITIL standards

? Manage, govern and control external IT service partners in the above mentioned areas and keep the knowledge base updated

? Service level management to continuously improve and ensure the provided service quality in accordance with the agreed KPIs

? Manage, control, monitor and timely renew overall maintenance and hardware/software agreements and contracts based on KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs)

? Create functional and technical documentation for RFPs (Request for Proposal) and manage the RFP process including technical vendor evaluation and proposal of award from technical perspective

? Define and review a proper reporting weekly/monthly based on KPIs in the above mentioned areas

? Manage and monitor assets(Hardware and Software) in the associated areas to ensure availability and correctness of asset data during the asset lifecycle

? Plan, execute, monitor and control projects in the above mentioned areas

? Document the knowledge objects (process, technical etc.) and keep them updated including the documentation of external providers (keep the knowledge in the company)

? Prepare input for the budget planning, control and manage the budget usage in the above mentioned service areas and projects according to the budget plan (PR, PO, GR)

? Ensure the above mentioned services and projects are in line with the group standards, including coordination and efficient communication with the associated service teams in the VW Group

? Identify and create potential synergies in the service areas mentioned above in cooperation with VW Group IT to integrate into local solutions and processes as well as providing them to the relevant standardization organizational units of VW Group

? Support and guide other VW companies upon on requests of the Region China in the above mentioned service areas

? Be responsible for Incident and problem management processes

Business Process Management

? Continuously analyze, review and re-check the existing IT business processes in the above mentioned areas to be more efficient, more effective and more capable of change

? Analyze and evaluate existing business processes and consolidate business requirements with strong focus on customer orientation and cost aspect

? Manage and improve the processes to deliver value-added products and services to the business departments

? Take charge of coordination with other business units in case of cross-unit responsibilities or dependencies for above mentioned service areas

Project / Program Management

? Setup and manage projects in accordance with international industry project management standard (eg. PMP) especially focused on scope, budget, quality, time

? Manage IT projects including rollout of VW Group solutions, local business process re-engineering and system development

? Evaluate business cases (ROI/TCO) to ensure cost efficiency of projects

? Manage project partners to deliver the requested products, solutions or services in time and budget

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

? Bachelor or Master in computer science or equivalent

? Additional Business Administration would be an advantage

Technical skills:

The Project Manager should have expert knowledge in IT Service Management Standards (ITIL Version 2 and/or 3) and deep experience in operations management capable to manage in accordance with VW Group Standards. He should be able to identify the operations and business requirements, analyse group and state-of-art solutions and define concepts to set up and maintain sustainable IT Infrastructure Services.

? Familiar with communication architectures including Video and Web Conferencing as well as PBX Technologies incl. the endpoint (phone) management

? Understanding of VOIP technologies and related network know-how (QOS etc.)

? Understanding of Encryption technologies used in the communications area

? Basic understanding of Windows Server Technology

? Knowledge of LDAP concepts for integration of communication technologies

? Understanding of key performance indicators and critical success factors

? Knowledge in supporting Tools or applications (e.g. Ticketing Systems, knowledge management, reporting and monitoring tools)

? Understanding of needs of internal IT customers as well as end users including achieving customer satisfaction by serving IT Infrastructure Services with high quality

? General understanding in purchasing, controlling and finance processes

? Using of standard project management tools (MS Project, MS Visio, Reporting Tools)

? Know how to train and guide external partners in IT Operations Tasks

? Experience with Mobile Device Management (advantageous)

? Basic understanding of SAP

Working experience (in years):

? At least 5 years’ experience in IT Services Management (ITIL)

? At least 3 years knowledge in IT project management (PMP or equivalent)

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

? Good English Skill (spoken and written)

? German would be an advantage

? PMP or equivalent certification

? ITIL certification
