Title:
Sales Engineer

Report to:
BD Director

Purpose of Job:
1. Achieve revenue goals by selling assigned products to customers with a certainty of product application safety, quality results, and good business results
2. Discover and qualify new business leads in Chinese HAVC market and serve as the initial contact window
3. Routinely collect information of market dynamics by communicating with customers, document the information and feedback to supervisor for analysis of market trends, opportunities and new project acquisition
4. Determine local market requirements and prepare Marketing Requirement Document; test new product and solution against local market requirements

Major Responsibility and Authority:
1. Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services, and make initial cold calls or emails to newly discovered clients
2. Capture detailed customer needs (technical, commercial, service, etc.) and feedback to Operation and BD team; align internal resources to satisfy customer needs
3. Operate CRM and BD process to manage business leads, contact records, and follow-up plans
4. Maintain and improve customer relationship by planning and conducting routine activities (e.g. calls, meetings, meals, etc.)
5. Establish product distribution channels and manage RFQ, LTA, contract and PO
6. Train distributors and other customers for application work; handle emergency service and troubleshooting requested by customer
7. Assist Product Development team to develop product literature and service manual
8. Collect and process marketing information according to assignment
9. Conduct new product test and localization work according to assignment
10. Maintain established customer relationship, sales activities and revenue

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Competitive sales capabilities – new leads discovery, cold call skills, decent and flexible Chinese language skills for listening, comprehension, speaking, and writing; strong interpersonal relationship skills
2. Ability to learn product and business knowledge according to assignment, and motivation for self-learning extended knowledge
3. Strong ambition to achieve sales goals and maximize revenue
4. Able to articulate technical features, competencies and value propositions
5. Discipline to fully execute job assignment and business process
6. Collaborative team-work spirit and initiation to own responsibilities
7. Self-motivated to maximize work efficiency and productivity, and to report progress and problems to supervisor
8. Good English-speaking and reading skills; oversea learning and living background is preferred

Qualifications, Education and Work Experience :
1. CET6
2. Preferred Education: 4 year college degree of engineering especially on Thermo-dymics or electronics
3. 2 years sales, customer service or engineering experience in China HAVC or boiler industry
