DESCRIPTION:
         Lead and facilitate the development and implementation of significant process improvements and culture within the company and it's vendors
         Train and coach staff on the methods and practices for improving processes, eliminating waste, improving customer service and adding profit
         Developing and owning the QC & Lean Strategy and effectively deploying within the PSC departments and Defining, Leading and Developing the Annual Tactic Plan
         Delivering on the promise given towards the customer under competitive terms, respecting and securing quality and regulatory requirements and being agile and responsive on changes on the promise
         Support setup and execution of Global Lean Roadmap
         Ensuring that products are received in compliance with the Business Management System <Beijing>
         Promote and deploy LEAN Manufacturing techniques and thinking, driving continuous improvement

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position's main responsibility is to:
         Facilitate the development and implementation of significant process improvements and culture within the company and when necessary to aid vendors with their processes that directly affect the company's ability to deliver to its customers. The focus of this position is to eliminate waste through the use of lean principles and Six Sigma methods. Also, this position is responsible for tracking and reporting all project progress, successes and failures.
         Defines an aligned strategy for a Lean Six Sigma project implementation. Working with leadership, Select and prioritize projects to ensure work aligns with strategic goals. Create project plans and guide team members, including personnel certified at the Green and Orange Belt levels, to complete projects in a timely manner. Trains other team members on how to use Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques, such as control charts, histograms and a root cause analysis, for improving processes, eliminating waste, improving customer service and adding profit to the bottom line.
         When not working on improvement projects, the Lean Leader and Site QC is the company's expert on Six Sigma methods and lean principles. This includes using tools such as value stream mapping, Kaizen events, root cause analysis and the Lean training & coaching of Six Sigma Belts.
         To be actively involved in the budgeting, capacity planning and business planning processes. To work within the production plan, ensuring the product delivered on time to meet customer demand.
         Ensure alignment of the QC Strategic and Tactic Plan with overall Manufacturing Strategy site <Beijing> and in the context of the Global Manufacturing Strategy deployment.
         Promote and deploy LEAN Manufacturing techniques and thinking, driving continuous improvement and lead (cost base) efficiency improvements within the process utilising business systems and tools. Pursue excellence in all we do.

RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Formal Education & Certification:
         Bachelor or Master’s degree
         Certified as Black Belt Lean Six Sigma

Experience & Knowledge:
         Business experience in a role Black Belt [Continuous Improvement] in an international Production and Supply environment with key skills and knowledge of Change Management, preferably focusing on Medical Devices and manufacturing in an advanced technical and industrial environment with high demands on quality and compliance
         Business experience with a focus on Medical Devices Quality Control and Incoming Goods Inspections in an advanced technology/industrial environment with high demands on quality and compliance
         Track record of (change) management experience in an international environment with cross culture/location management is desirable
         Experience and a good track record of Six Sigma and Lean projects that have driven change for continuous improvement
         Experience of Lean manufacturing within a global business environment
         Prefereable knowledge and experience of relevant Medical Device Directions

Skills:
         A strong communicator able to drive ideas through others and having a high standard of interpersonal skills
         Showing discipline in execution of Change processes, securing compliance and actively focused on achieving results and objectives; ready to take action in case of any disappointing results
         Fluent in English and local language
         Willingness to accept responsibility
