About Your Job:

The Business Analyst will report to the Country Manager and will be responsible for assessing the price and QR fare structure to enable Sales to achieve their commercial objectives in a changing market place.
In addition, you will review ad-hoc fare requests based on flight loads. You will evaluate and launch market fares for new destinations outside the established QR network based on feedback from sales and special prorate agreements. You will ensure that all pricing decisions optimise contribution to QR, supported with robust analysis and are in line with the pricing framework and guidelines developed by Revenue Management.
You will work with the sales team to resolve any issues relating to pricing and distribution. You will regularly monitor and compare current fare structures with other airlines fares and where necessary, take remedial action to get approval on competitive levels from Head Office. You will identify new points via QR gate way and recommend/request new SPA sectors beyond new routes to establish market fares. You will create and manage flown revenue database and market share reports to assist the airline's sales performance.

About You:

To be effective in this role, you will need a bachelors degree combined with a minimum of four years of job related experience. Specific business analysis experience within a matrix-style organisation and within the aviation or travel or hospitality industry would be well regarded. Experience with revenue management principles and practices and extensive knowledge of a GDS is required for this role. This role also requires strong analytical ability, business acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will need to be fluent (written and spoken) in English & Mandarin to perform this role.
