1.Oversees China’s sales team and account managers
2.Responsible of China’s profit & loss
3.Plans and implements staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and grow a sales team
4.Determines the market strategy for China’s sales team in mobile advertising ecosystem
5.Reviews weekly pipeline, projections and manages expectations with leadership team
6.Strong customers advocate and implements programs around sales and customer feedback
7.Prepares budgets and approve budget expenditures
8.Confers or consults with department heads to plan regional product & marketing efforts
9.Oversee the hiring and development of China’s sales organization, appropriate for the company’s maturity/size
10.Substantial experience working with broad cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams with ability to influence the opinions 11.of internal constituencies, executives, clients and partners to adopt new strategies and take action
12.Drive the development of national sales strategies focused on publisher acquisition and programmatic demand
13.Demonstrated success taking products to market and achieving ambitious, quantifiable business objectives
14.Maintain key strategic customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
15.Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
16.An expert on key business trends, analyze and improve opportunities to leverage data, forecasting, models, dashboards and other analysis tools
17.Responsible for quarterly business reviews
18.Responsible in forecasting and driving to meet or exceeding supply quarterly revenue goals
Qualifications
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
1.Bachelor in Marketing or Business
2.Billingual in both English and Mandarin, proficient in spoken and written
3.Proficiency in MS Office
4.With at least 10 years of online advertising experience in digital media (interactive/digital/web/mobile advertising/media/ telco industry)
5.A demonstrable history of exceeding internal and external goals and expectations and meeting revenue goals
6.A strong analytical mind, capable of understanding and acting upon a variety of disparate facts sources
7.Proven track record of leading a successful sales team in meeting goals
8.Proven Sales management discipline – team building, pipeline management, and forecasting. History of delivering above quota consistently
9.Having robust understanding of ad-tech ecosystem with granular understanding of Real-Time Bidding (RTB) and Supply-Side 10.Platform (SSP), Demand-Side Platform (DSP), ad exchanges, networks business are essential
11.Current or previous experience working and living in Shanghai, China, highly advantageous.

Job Description
We are looking for an independent individual to open our Smaato China office in Shanghai, China. Travel for this position is required, and the initial training would be in San Francisco with potential travel to New York. The General Manager of Sales exhibits strong leadership and strategic thinking skills. He or she will play a central role in evangelizing Smaato’s performance products. The General Manager is responsible for the direction and sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. This position will manage the largest and fastest growing multi million dollar existing and new business sales organization within the Greater China region. He or she will also Implement and grow sales business unit based on market opportunity and across mobile publishers, ad-networks, demand side platforms and direct demand.

The General Manager, Sales will report to Managing Director - APAC and will be a member of the company's management team. This position is primarily based in Shanghai with travel to manage Partnership relationships within China and other APAC region. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in a fun and fast paced energetic environment with an immense growth potential of mobile marketing.
