As a new member of the growing team, the successful candidate will be part of the Global Zebra Service Organization and be responsible and managing the Repair Engineering activities in Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

NPI (New Product Implementation)
? Responsibility for the repair on dedicated product is ready prior or as soon as product starts to sell
? Validation of the supplier's repair process. Making sure all regulatory approvals and/or certifications have been obtained
? Preparation of the Global NPI new product repair work instructions on dedicated products
? Making sure all new tooling and equipment has been qualified/validated
? Ensuring proper training on the new product for supplier Engineering group
? Implementation of ECN (Engineering Change Notice) into the service engineering change management systems
? Distribution of service engineering change management notes to the given distribution group prior to the ECN implementation
? Design for service - ensuring products service needs are followed during development phase of the Product
Management and responsibility for cost reductions (materials cost per Unit & labor cost per unit) activities.
? Oversight and management of repair material recovery activities
? Establish weekly, monthly Engineering matrix and follow up actions with following effectivity measurement system
? First communication and escalation point for all the Service Engineering activities in the region
? Working on ENG six sigma projects which will improve repair KPIs
? Regular interface (some travel required) with Key Customers analyzing returns, recommending process improvement and
overseeing improvement implementation

Qualifications:
? Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience within electronics manufacturing / repair environment.
? Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
? Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Access 97, working experience using Minitab an advantage.
? Fluent in both spoken and written English
? Familiar with Quality Measurement Techniques – 5S, TQM, Six sigma project management
? Certification in Six Sigma an advantage
? Experience with process auditing
