Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer will be a staff member of a research and development team at China Technology Center to develop new Air Supply products and sustain released products operation for life safety applications. This role will be responsible for the mechanical and electromechanical development for Air Supply products and accessories.

Essential Job Responsibilities
? Develop mechanical design solutions on pneumatic products for Air Supply products and accessories.
? Develop engineering prototypes to validate design concepts.
? Work with vendor to develop manufacturing tooling.
? Release and maintain engineering drawings.
? Work with other engineer to run verification and validation tests.
? Performs root cause analysis of existing products and develops corrective actions plans, implement necessary design review/change following ECR/ECN process.
? Technical problem solving.
? Other manager assigned responsibilities.

Minimum Qualification / Functional competency
? Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
? 3 years’ experience in the mechanical, electromechanical and plastic structure design of pneumatic products for industrial applications.
? Strong mechanical design and analysis capability including mechanical architecture development, component selection and placement, electrical and mechanical interface control.
? Familiar with common mechanical testing methods and applying appropriate testing in product development.
? Proficient with using AutoCAD/Pro-Engineer mechanical CAD/CAE tools.
? Proficient with 3D and 2D mechanical drawing development.
? Understand in FMEA, DFM and tolerance analysis.
? Working experience in injection molding and tooling design to develop high quality plastic parts.
? Track record of innovative design from concept to mass production with products launched in market.
? Excellent documentation skills.
? Good verbal and written English.
? Strong problem solving capability.
? Good understanding products running on ERP system.
? Be a team player and self-motivated.

Desired Qualification
? Advanced engineering degree.
? Experience in developing innovative mechanical architectures for pneumatic products.
? Experience in using Six Sigma tools to design solutions to meet both customer and manufacturing requirements.
