DESCRIPTION 职位描述
? To manage the PCP Hardware engineering staff of R and D at Elekta BMEI.
? To provide designs that meet the relevant customer requirements and are delivered in a timely manner according to the Elekta BMEI Product Roadmap

RESPONSIBILITIES 职责
? To ensure that staff of the PCP Hardware Engineering have the right competence to fulfill their roles as defined in their job descriptions and to help with their career development
? To identify any new needs for the department, such as new technologies, new tools and processes
? To support his/her staff during the introduction of new technologies, tools and processes
? To ensure that the relevant procedures are up to date and his/her staff are following them correctly
? To ensure the staff have adequate product knowledge and are fully aware of the application of the products
? To foster an environment that promotes his/her staff to work effectively in cross-functional teams and to produce innovative design solutions
? To ensure his/her staff work in safe and comfortable environment
? To work with other R and D managers and other staff in Elekta BMEI to achieve the company’s objectives
? To conduct annual reviews of staff
? To nominate a deputy as and when requred

AUTHORITIES 职权
? To deputise for the R and D Director as and when required
? To be able to approve all relevant technical product documentation as and when required, however, this would normally be done by his/her staff
? To be able to approve overtime and holidays
? To be able to recommend promotion and salary changes to his/her staff

RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 相关知识技能
? Degree in a relevant technical subject
? 8 years working in a similar R and D environment is preferable
? Knowledge of medical technology and the regulatory framework.
? Fluent in English.
? Personal skills of leadership, organisation and communication.
