Director / Chief Investment Officer
Roles and Responsibilities
? Review CIO Chinese translated reports, amend language according to regulatory requirements where necessary to ensure suitable for UBSCL client distribution (assuming Legal, C&ORC has approved rebranded report templates).
? Integrate into CIO's investment process, and properly understand and interpret the UBS House View.
? Support Regional CIO Greater China & China Economist on China economics research.
? Key CIO point of contact for CAs in UBSCL.
? There should be no external interaction however with UBSCL clients.
Requirements
? Strong economics background, a graduate degree in economics (preferred) or finance with solid understanding of economic concepts and models.
? With 8 plus years working experience, at least 3 years in China's domestic financial markets,
? Excellent oral and written English and Mandarin skills – must be able to write reports in both English and Chinese
? A strong team player who is able to work independently with little supervision
