职位描述：
Our M&A tax team is constantly involved in providing tax advisory services to private equity and corporate clients in connection with restructurings and mergers and acquisitions, advising on tax efficient investment structures and conducting tax due diligence. We also assist organizations in dealing with the cost and opportunities arising from the introduction of China’s latest tax policy, which includes advising on tax planning strategies, tax implications on China investments and tax incentives under the new law.

Responsibilities

- Extensive experience in dealing with private equity clients on fund establishment and M&A tax issues
- Fund Tax and transaction tax structuring, negotiation of local financial subsidies, general partner due diligence
- Fund manager related operational issues, risks and corporate governance
- Other fund and investments related legal, regulatory, foreign exchange and tax issues
- Perform tax due diligence on transactions and advise on investment structuring for both private equity and corporate clients
- Advise on tax issues associated with pre- and post-acquisition, pre-IPO restructuring
- Working closely with internal and external clients on cross-border / M&A transactions, international tax advisory engagements, tax structuring and ad hoc projects
- Undertake business development activities and market tax services to clients and non-clients.
- Keep abreast of new technical developments and solutions, and confidently market these applications to both clients and Partners
- Be responsible for managing a group of people. Delegate work to members of multiple teams, ensuring follow up strategies are in place

Experience

- A degree in Accounting / Finance or any other business related discipline and ideally a professional qualification (accounting or legal)
- 4-10 years’ experience (including advisory) in a professional firm or Private Equity Funds Tax
- A proven history of developing business, client servicing and acting autonomously
- Strong written and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work with all levels of management
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work effectively under time critical deadlines
- Excellent organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proven history of managing and developing others, developing business and acting autonomously
- Experience working on M&A transactions or cross-border transactions or in international tax
- Proven ability to develop and manage people effectively through leadership, appropriate delegation, coaching and mentoring of staff
- Strong presentation skills with an excellent command of verbal and written English and fluency in Cantonese / Mandarin will be an advantage 举报 分享
