Position Summary:



Entegris' Liquid Microcontamination (LMC) business is a world-leader in filtration and contamination control solutions for advanced processing. The Consumer Electronics (CE) business is an important growth area within LMC and requires many new filtration and purification products to support this growth.



The CE Project Manager is responsible for supporting Product Management in planning, co-ordination and leading the execution of CE new product creation. The Project Manager will serve as the local expert for the CE stage-gate development process. The Project Manager works with new product team members to create and manage project plans to ensure on-time launch of key new product programs.



Primary Responsibilities and Duties:



? Facilitates the use of the i2M phase-gate process as a team collaboration tool within CE team.

? Serves as local expert and CE champion for i2M

? Monitors projects for i2M utilization and project health

? Creates and manages thorough project plans for key new product programs to ensure on-time launch.

? Works with a wide range of internal functional groups to develop and track the plan.

? Provides risk analysis and identifies critical path items. Develops and communicates risk mitigation plans.

? Develops communication plans and communicates project schedule, status and delays in a consistent and timely manner.

? Works with the team leader to assign responsibilities for tasks.

? Communicates task timing and expectations to all team members so as to keep on schedule.

? Updates plans as needed.

? Tracks resource utilization vs. budget.

? Ensures proper documentation is created as appropriate for each project.

? Supports standardization and improvement of business processes used to create new CE products.

? May support overall project portfolio planning and tracking

? Supports product creation by tracking product samples, creating and maintaining documentation, and tracking supplier status.



Other duties may be assigned within a similar range of responsibility as needed by the LMC Director of Program Management or the CE Market Manager.



Qualifications:



Required Skills:

1. Strong project management skills at a level equivalent to PMP certification or higher.

2. Language Skills - Good English and Chinese language skill is required. Must be able to communicate planning and technical issues to a multi-national team in China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and USA.

3. Communication Skills - Must be able to communicate clearly, both internally and externally with a multi-cultural audience. Multi-level communications skill is required.

4. Strong problem identification and solving skills (issues containment, root cause analysis, corrective action).

5. Good teamwork skills including delegation and motivation of teams.

6. Computer skills - Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes.

Additional Skills -These skills are not required, but would be a plus:

1. Knowledge of high technology industries such as semiconductors, flat panel display, hard disk, solar, inkjet and critical fluid filtration.

2. Spoken Japanese.



Qualifications:

Minimum requirements: Four year degree in engineering or technically related field and engineering project management experience of 5 years or an equivalent combination of training and experience; or a demonstrated capability to perform the duties of the job. Ability to travel globally as needed.



Preferred requirements: PMP Certification, degree in chemical, mechanical or plastics engineering or materials science.



Physical Demands:

The ability to work in a normal office environment and to travel as needed. Some early morning or night-time conference calls may be required.?
