Position: Marketing Manager -Fortune 500 Chemical Company

Location: Shanghai

Responsibilities:

1) Leading the process of developing and implementing strategies for Greater China.

2) Identify new business opportunities for existing products in new applications but also new products in existing or new applications.

3) Analyze existing and new markets in order to expand our portfolio, identify new business opportunities

4) Define jointly with technical service needs and scope of lab activities.

5) Strong involvement in regional marketing budget, KPIs and other business objectives as well as for new business opportunities;

6) Definition and implementation of the pricing policy in coordination with the Market Segments (worldwide), Country Manager and Sales Managers;

7) Customer contact with main emphasis on existing but also potential end-users and government agencies;

8) Support sales team at key accounts including joint marketing programs and contract discussions;

9) Ensure sustainable and comprehensive overview of the regional market including market size, market share, industry trends, regional players, etc.;

10) Organize and maintain competitive market intelligence;

11) Search for potential acquisition targets and attractive technologies.

Requirements:

1) Bachelor degree major in chemistry, marketing, business or similar;

2) Fluent in English (both spoken and written);

3) Strong Leadership skills and ability to lead work team towards target achievement, good intercultural capabilities;

4) Basic knowledge of chemistry and good skill in innovation processes and market research capabilities; Specific skill in negotiation and pricing policies;

5) At least 10 years of working experience and minimum 5 years of marketing experience.
