What are my responsibilities?
- Provide insight/overview about macro policy development and trends. Advise the company and Government for policy and strategy development. To protect, build and reinforce the reputation of Company in China. To support executive management for the internal communication and company culture with communications strategy, plans, implementations and activities.
- Manage Communication Department with continuous process improvement and competence development, focus on efficiency and high quality.
- Develop government and public relations to support company goal. Provide concrete suggestions/proposal/support to the management how to deal with related Government Policies, in order to align company's business strategy with country's policies.
- Manage corporate merger and acquisition related issues, such as business expansion, portfolio increases, extension of business license, in coordination with Company Legal. Be responsible for annual business licenses review.
- Develop internal communication strategy/plan to build up Company image and translate Company value to employees. Work closely with executive management to identify internal communication needs and develop internal communication strategies. Develop annual communication plan to improve employee communication and company culture.
- Manage and further develop good communication channels/platforms within the organization, such as town hall meeting, Q&A, Employee Newsletters, bulletin board, intranet and external publishing.
- Manage employee survey/upward feedback to identify internal communication result, define action plan based on the survey result
- Manage internal publications and printings (employee newsletter, MT China employee wall newsletter, posters, intranet, brochure, video etc.). Ensure that all internal communications message and tools are consistent with corporate guideline and positioning.
- Initiate and execute MT China company events (e.g. family day, annual outing, annual dinner, opening ceremony, etc.) or other internal events required by executive management
- Coordinate all external communication with HQ and Company Marketing and Communication departments
- Supervise internal Announcement Publishing: drafting of memos & articles, as well as coordination & collection of articles from employees, content translation, proof reading, layout sample; printing checking, Billboards maintenance.
- Supervise vendor and proposal selection; preparation, implementation and follow up incl. payments, as well as internal coordination of internal events, company outing, annual party, cultural and sports activities in coordination with labor union
- Issue and crisis management: keeping executive management and SLC Industry communication informed of changes, potential concerns
- Coordinate and communicate with related Department for the TOP+ and 3i activities
- To assist in other marketing communication tasks assigned by Industry or Executive Management
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Many years working experiences in industry (manufacture) business, and with Government Authorities. - Rich experiences of policy research and analysis wished. Excellent understanding of Government Policy making processes.
- Very good leadership skill to lead the team achieving the set targets, mentoring and coaching team members to fulfill the communication strategies.
- Many years experiences working in a MNC and international team.
What else do I need to know?
- Very good knowledge about key technologies/development trends in the Siemens related areas
- Systematic approach, understanding of complicated policy pictures, strong communication skill
- Strategic orientation, clear overview, very good command of English
