Job Purpose:
Responsible for the overall sales strategies and results of QR within the area of responsibility. Will be required to generate passenger revenues in the assigned areas and surpass the allocated targets. Protect existing business and constantly exploit new opportunities. Create maximum awareness of QR’s products and services.
Accountabilities:
Acquire, maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails; visiting potential customers to prospect for new business.
Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, and events.
Service the needs of key customers, Travel Agents and Corporate Accounts. Submit monthly sales call plans and weekly sales reports and update the trade and corporate houses about QR’s products and services
Develop and maintain strategic relationship with key QR accounts
Plan and direct all sales activities including planning and implementing forecasts as well as developing policies and processes
Develops and maintains good relations with the Travel Trade, Government and Commercial Houses.
Constantly exploits any new sales opportunities and creating maximum awareness of QR’s products/services.
Recommends competitive pricing requests from the agents.
Provides regular market intelligence to Management.
Service the needs of key customers, Travel Agents and Corporate Accounts. Submit weekly sales call plans and weekly sales reports and update the trade and corporate houses about QR’s products and services
Provide management with any market intelligence on the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities of QR, events and recommend desired changes, with proper justification
Make every effort in acquiring sales leads and increasing awareness of QR product.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Management in Sales
Knowledge of GDS system, and selling experience
Minimum 4 years of job-related experience required
Excellent knowledge of industry trend and customers’ requirements
Proven successful in meeting and over-achieving sales targets
Strong motivation to succeed in a fast growing company
Be committed, articulate, and able to provide a high level of customer service at all times
Ability to work effectively with other team members and with other departments
