General Responsibilities:
Overall P&L responsibility for non-bonded business– achieve agreed profitability targets
Manage day to day operation execution and service to clients – achieve agreed KPI & client satisfaction targets
Client ownership – manage and develop clients relationship
Implement companywide operating standards, processes, KPIs
Ensure internal operation Auditing success
Solution support and Project management for all new business and existing business new requirements
Ensure the well development and take full potential of unique WMS solution

Detailed Responsibilities:
? Overall P&L responsibility for non-bonded business
P&L responsibility based on agreed budget & targets for managed sites and transport contracts
General management for non-bonded operations however required to work effectively with central functions like business development, project management, logistics engineering/process improvements and IT
Promote DSV logistics business in local market and branding the service as well
Contribute to and sign off agreed pricing for new customers (based on company cost model)
? Manage day to day operation
Support & manage day to day operation teams/sites, maintain & enhance proper control system (SOP/KPI etc)
Effective operating cost control
Ensure daily execution of customer orders, be the main escalation point for customers daily issues
? Non-bonded clients ownership
Own the senior level relationship for customers gained/headquartered for non-bonded business, even if services might be also provided in the other regions.
Develop and maintain effective regular review system, offer continuous solution development & service improvements as the key company principle
? Gain & implement new customers for non-bonded business
Target, approach, develop and sell logistics solutions to customers predominantly in: engineering, automotive, hi-tech and fashion industries. Sales efforts via own relationship network
Joint sales efforts: support business development projects led/introduced by either local Air & Sea branch offices or by logistics business development team headquartered in Shanghai
Use company sales, solution design & costing tools/standards in business development process
? Establish & maintain operating standards
Ensure the company operations, facilities and labor meet minimum company standards
Implement/roll-out China wide process improvements and initiatives, continuous process improvements to ensure high quality and cost efficiency of the operations
Ensure proper implementation and usage of company WMS systems
? Warehouse & Transportation development
Source new warehouse sites, contact various landlords and maintain a database of available sites
? People Development
Resources and personnel planning for long term and short term business development, staff communication, performance evaluation
Provide coaching, direction for staff in the area of business and personal development.
? Solution and Project management
Solution support for both new sales leads and existing business including warehouse design, process design, operation optimization, domestic trucking routing design
Project implementation management to ensure all new launched projects go live smoothly, operation process upgrade implementation within budgeted cost and resource.

Communications
Internal – Logistics head office staff in Shanghai, Air & Sea branch managers
External – Existing & new customers, vendors, business partners.

Qualifications Requirements
Knowledge & Skills Full range of third party/contract logistics business and industry knowledge.
Education & Training Bachelor degree in Business/ Science or equivalent;
Personal Characteristics Entrepreneurial, self starter, can work independently and proactively towards
                                                achieving set goals. Hands on management style
Experience 5 years’ experience within 3 PL with diverse background in warehouse & transport functions. At least 5 years in hands-on operation management position. BD/Commercial experience a strong plus.
