Technical competency:
o Engineer should be from Mobile Protocol and Application Testing background.
o Experience in understand and executing GSM, WCDMA, HSPA , LTE/VoLTE and Voice over Wifi test cases.
o Need have log analysis experience for failure test cases.
o Hands on experience on QXDM/QCAT logging tools and flashing tools
o Prior experience in Field Test & Customer Acceptance Test/Operator Support/ Lab Testing is must.
o Experience in IOS applications and third party/native application testing
o Good understanding of Software testing processes and methodologies.
o 3 to 6 years of experience in mobiledomain
Roles and responsibility of the engineer
o Performing the Device Field /Lab Test as per the latest TS11 document and generic application testing for handset.
o Collecting, analyzing log files for failure cases, compiling results and reporting errors/bugs in Defect management tool with accurate description
o Bugs tracking, reproducing and verification in the correct test environment and deliver accurate feedback to the project.
o Create and deliver consolidated the test reports for the tested products on daily and weekly basis.
o Interfacing between developers, verification leads verification engineers and market unit.
