HEAD of Fusion Program
融合学部主管
Shenzhen Shiyan International School, located in Shenzhen in the south of China’s mainland opposite Hong Kong, opens its doors in August 2017. The school was a public (state) school comprising 6,000 students, more than half of whom will in future belong to the new private international school. Following a program of substantial renovation and development, SSYIS will be one of the best-appointed schools in the area offering IB international, dual-language (Fusion) and Chinese national curricula to students aged 3-18. The Fusion Program takes the key curricular components from both Chinese and international programs and fuses them into an integrated program which enables students to enjoy the best of both worlds.

The Head of Fusion will probably be a bilingual Chinese national with in-depth experience of the local Chinese curriculum, and will work with a western Co-head to introduce, develop, oversee and manage the dual-language program, Grades 1-9.

Job Description 职位描述
1Together with the western co-Head of Fusion, to introduce, develop, oversee and manage the school’s dual-language Fusion Program 与融合学部外籍主管一起开发并管理学校的双语融合项目。
2Create and develop programs of study and schemes of work which maximize student learning in both sections, exploiting the full range of educational resources available and differentiating effectively for age and ability
学习项目与工作方案的设计和开发，保证学生在双语项目中学习收益最大化，挖掘全方位的教育资源，针对学生年龄和学习能力因材施教。
3Interact effectively with the Tutors to support learning across both sections 与导师积极互动，为学生在双语环境下的学习提供支持。
4Play an active part in children’s character development, exploiting every opportunity for delivering a rounded, holistic education 积极参与学生的性格培养，利用所有机会提供全面发展的全人教育。
5Carry out formative and summative assessments as scheduled, and complete student reports on time
按照计划开展形成性报告和总结性报告，按时完成学生的学习进度报告。
6Collaborate in a collegiate manner with other colleagues 与同事友好合作。
7Lead, deliver and attend continuing professional development sessions, lesson observations and appraisal, meetings, as required 按照要求，组织、实施并参与职业发展研讨会，组织课堂评估及部务会议。
8Maintain a smart, professional, efficient and child-centered profile at all times, abiding by the guidelines in the Teacher’s Manual 时刻保持敏锐、专业、高效、围绕孩子发展为中心的职业素养，遵守教师守则的要求。
9Contribute to the enrichment and extra-curricular program, sharing occasional boarding duties.

1Manage the local Chinese curricular components of the Fusion Program for maximum efficiency

3Establish curriculum timelines, planning ahead of time and meeting due deadlines 设计课程时间表，提前规划，按节点完成任务。

Role Competence 角色能力
1Native or fluent speaker of Chinese and English 汉语为母语或流利的中英双语能力。
2Bachelor’s/Master’s degree and a teaching-related certificate 学士/硕士学位及教学相关证书
3Experience in a bilingual or dual-language environment and adequate, relevant teaching experience
具有双语环境或等同环境的工作经验，相关教学经验。
4Higher-level interpersonal competence and a positive, pioneering attitude

1Base salary rmb 12,000 to 20,000 (gross) per month, with additional KPI (performance) incentives
