JOB PURPOSE

? Deliver budgeted annual admissions revenue and visitor budgets for all new openings through successful and measurable marketing performance
? Build a network of trade relationships in each geographical region and deliver strategic deals based on the pipeline of existing and upcoming openings
? Work in partnership with the APAC Regional Director of New Openings to champion the customer perspective in all new openings and ensure exception visitor experience is delivered
? Work in partnership with HR to recruit and develop Marketing Managers for each new attraction launch
? Work with Global Midway Brand teams based in the UK to ensure the consistent on-brand delivery of the product and all marketing communication across all new openings.
? To understand the spend per head, volume analysis and customer mix by channel to identify trends in each region and work with local Marketing Managers to ensure that local marketing activity is in place to meet visitor targets by channel.
? To work effectively with a complex matrix of stakeholders in different parts of the business to ensure an integrated approach to launching both new and existing brands in both new and existing markets
? Empower Marketing Managers onsite to deliver exceptional marketing results

BUSINESS IMPACT/RESULTS

? Propose, implement and drive marketing strategy for first two years and oversee the marketing launches of all new attractions to ensure pre-opening visitor bookings and on-going visitor and revenue success
? Drive trade strategy at a regional level and ensure it is in place at site level, meeting and exceeding pre-opening ticket sales targets
? Work with Global Brand teams to ensure brand consistency, as well as local teams to ensure the brand is tailored to the market where required
? Work with Merlin Magic Making to ensure quality delivery of product, resulting in exceptional guest experience measured through customer KPIs
? Work with site team to ensure all members of the team are delivering the guest experience in line with brand strategy
? Implement competitor strategies at each launch designed to actively take market share in each new opening
? Carry out admissions and spend per head analysis to ensure targets are met. Based on analysis, make recommendations and work with local Marketing Managers to ensure that local marketing activity is in place to meet relevant volume and yield targets
? Maximise repeat visits through KPI recommendations/ annual pass strategy and online activity

CREATIVITY & COMMUNICATION

? Work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels, and build relationships internally and externally to deliver results
? Work in partnership with Global Midway Brand teams to continuously develop the product so it remains a compelling reason to visit, in-line with consumer demands
? Ensure cross-selling, annual pass and cluster opportunities are maximised in all new attraction launches
? Continuously develop the strategy and marketing activity for launches based on best practice and standardisation

DECISION MAKING & AUTONOMY

? Set visitor volume, admissions and spend per head budgets for all new attractions based on board paper
? Propose 5 year business plan in-line with board paper for all new attractions to Global Marketing Director
? Propose and implement tactical marketing and pricing across new attraction launches
? Work with General Managers to optimise returns from all pricing strategies and commercial activities
? Work with Marketing Managers, by way of support and guidance, to enable them to undertake attraction based marketing activity

APPLIED KNOWLEDGE & SPECIALIST SKILLS

? Use specialist knowledge of Trade, PR, Sales, Brand and Consumer Marketing to successfully support attraction launches in line with revenue and volume targets
? Interpret and review existing site volume, spend per head and revenue performance in line with planned and implemented marketing activity post launch

MANAGING RESOURCES

? Manage new attraction marketing budgets and ensure all attractions manage their own budgets effectively, to ensure no overspends and that all investment in marketing activity delivers best value and all available cost efficiencies are maximised
? Work with HR and General Manager to implement induction and training for site based Marketing Managers
? Work with HR and General Manager to set initial PDP objectives for site based marketing managers

COMPLEXITY & PROBLEM SOLVING

? Work with a variety of stakeholders across the business to deliver results collaboratively and find solutions to day to day issues
? Carry out analysis to ensure that the product and operational delivery for each site remains above target and that marketing activity is targeted to the relevant markets.
? Undertake post opening research to understand reactions to the brand and product and make recommendations to the Operations team in line with guest insight
