Job objectives:
Strengthen and enlarge the market position of SEEPEX in China and realize sustainable growth by further develop, coordinate and support the national sales organisation in line with national and international sales strategies.
Key tasks:
Realization of the marketing and sales strategies.
Reach sales target in China as whole as well as in the sales regions as per annual budget agreements.
Develop the sales organisation by managing and guiding regional managers and expand the regional & industrial presence towards an efficient and target oriented team.
Represent company at bigger accounts, at larger projects and strategic meetings.
Job tasks in detail:
Work out and/or adapt general sales strategy in cooperation with Management and based on this set up yearly sales plan to be presented at annual budgetplanning in September every year.
Conceptional incorporation of various sales channels in China; direct sales, distribution and dealers.
Classification and strategic handling of various customer types.
Evaluation and supervision of sales statistics as well as the KPI's for regions/sales staff.
Further implement Market Management/Industry Development Management to penetrate (deeper) in a professional way into certain industries.
Geographical potential analyses, classification and organization of the sales districts.
Close cooperation with Customer Service Manager to develop the after-sales business with the installed base.
Competition and market observations with relevant reporting.
Sales promoting actions for pumps and services as well as increasing SEEPEX brand-recognition in cooperation with the Marketing Department.
Set up training plans for the sales team.
Improve process-efficiency in SPS-HQ as well as in the branch-offices.
Increase the way, frequency and quality of communication with customers in all possible ways.
Monthly reporting to Management.
Regular exchange with Sales Management in HQ-Germany.
Involvement in identifying potential project, follow up and support.
Support the focus on existing customer base as well as on developing new customers.
Planning, organization and preparation of sales meetings and regular branch office meetings.
Involvement in the conception and organization of trade shows and sales conferences.
Preparation, organization and realization of trainings, workshops and presentations at certain customers.
Ensure handling and evaluation (technical and commercial clarification) of customer inquiries in best possible way and develop qualitative solutions.
Pricing of special projects within scope of competence.
Ensure correct verification of customer orders in both technical aspects as well as commercial conditions.
Constant working on correct attitude of sales staff during customer visits and following of company policies.
Requirements:
1.Min. Bachelor in engineering (mech., electr.,...); knowledge of business administration basics and modern management methods.
2.Min. 10 yrs working experience in the pumping industry (pd-pump); knows markets/industries SEEPEX is in or wants to get in. Proven record in sales management. Working experience in foreign owned company (European/American).
3.High knowledge of English language in spoken as well as writing.
4.Based in Shanghai
5.Have driver license
