Are you ready to join Microsoft's key engineering team to enable the success of Microsoft solutions in our most important customers? The Premier Mission Critical (PMC) Delivery Team Unit (DTU) is a team of our best engineers that drive higher performance and up-time for mission critical solutions built on Microsoft technology. As a trusted advisor and member of the Premier Mission Critical Delivery Team Unit, you will have influence over the implementation and remediation of multi-million dollar solutions. Expect to work closely with other DTU members and the wider Microsoft Services team to integrate cross-product solutions. As a DTU member your role is critical to the success of our customers' solutions and you will need to manage relationships with a key group of approximately 20 of our most critical customers.



You will be designing and driving the discovery and potentially unique solution for each of your customer's situations as part of the DTU. As part of a DTU many resources are at your disposal, including the other CSS engineers and local engineers to be your eyes and ears onsite. The product group and the years of tenured engineers around you are all available to enable your determination of the course of solution.

In this professional role, your contribution and overall impact is self-directed and the opportunities are rich.

This position will require you to work a rotational on-call schedule. You will also have the opportunity for some occasional domestic and or international travel.



Skills/Experience Required

- Good at one specialty with more than 4 years experience in this specialty. CRM, SQL or Windows Platform will be preferred.

- Knowledge on Azure will be a plus. Deep knowledge in Microsoft Azure Platform, Operating System/Virtualization, Networking, or Relational Database Design/Administration.

- Strong design and programming skills with 2+ years' experience in one or more languages/scripts (C#/Asp.Net, C++, JavaScript/Html5, Powershell, etc.) is a plus.

- Troubleshooting in complex environment and difficult issues will be a plus

- Working experience in Support Escalation Engineer, Escalation Engineer, Embedded Escalation Engineer or equivalent working experience with Microsoft Product Group will be a plus.

- Excellent communication & influence skills. Cantonese and English are required. Mandarin will be a plus.

- Outstanding customer service skills

- Ability to works well in a team environment and demonstrate your excellent technical leadership &

problem-solving skills

- Excellent presentation, negotiation & analytical skills.



Roles and Responsibilities

- Main work is to standby for any Critical Situations in Hong Kong. Once the customer requests Microsoft onsite resources, the engineer needs to go onsite. If it matches his specialty, then he can help to resolve. If it does not match to his main specialty, then he will work with the remote expert to resolve the issue together.

- Have a deep understanding on your customer solution/environments, including the architecture, deployment and configuration, and the potential issues/risks in the solution, clear in mind

your customer's IT goal.

- Demonstrate your strong technical expertise on the customer's solution, contribute to a proactive service pan helping the customer to prevent potential downtime and stay healthy.

- Manage relationships with your customers and provide technical documentation for the troubleshooting steps in pursuit of the technical resolution

- Create, analyze, recommend & present assessment, fact findings, and root cause analysis to sr. level customers.

- When there is no CritSit situation, engineer can conduct the remote technical training & ability

to be an effective Microsoft technology speaker, or Document your knowledge and share your experience as you contribute to the Knowledge Base. or continue to develop specialized expertise by

supporting Microsoft technologies.
