职位描述：
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

1. Technology support for market development and fast response to customers inquires;
2. Establish cell R&D capabilities and initiate R&D projects to the Company’s next generation products relative to their market opportunity, including product positioning, packaging, pricing and customer feedback to ensure a rich and evolving product roadmap and actionable product plans for the business;
3. Test the products offered by the well-known power battery companies all around the world and compare them with our products from the aspects which are accepts by customers;
4. Analyze failed pack/cell came from customers or factory and find the root cause;
5. Set up suitable grouping protocol for factory to ensure the consistency of pack;
6. Represent BPI to attend some influential conference and give some presentations;
7. Actively manage the product lifecycle and organize and track relevant competitive data;
8. Cooperate with local institutions and governmental agencies to gain financial support.

Requirements / Qualifications

1. Over 8 years’ lithium ion power cell R&D experiences;
2. Master or PhD degree in chemistry or mechanic relevant;
3. Must have demonstrated research and analytic skills, as well as the ability to take disparate information (i.e. research data, brain storming ideas) and make strategic recommendations quickly;
4. Have own insight in the lithium ion battery market, and have good knowledge of present performance of lithium ion cells all around the world;
5. Understand deeply the chemistry of lithium ion cell and be able to assemble lithium ion cell independently;
6. Demonstrated knowledge of production line of lithium ion cell and over 3 years’ onsite experience of lithium ion cell production;
7. Adept at managing multiple competing priorities and be able to lead a team.

Key Competencies:

1. Abundant theoretical and practical LIB R&D and production experience;
2. Able to manage a team over 10 engineers;
3. Keen insight in LIB marketing and able to obtain samples from other LIB manufacturers for benchmark.
