职位描述：
This role is for a senior engineer with strong Unix/Oracle technical skills and excellent English speaking skills. It involves design, development and support of a large product which is a Unisys owned enterprise product that provides model-driven development and code generation to a variety of platforms. There is much communication internally and externally with engineering plants in Australia and India. Experience with security coding, ODAC/ODP.NET framework and performance tuning are great advantages.

Responsibilities of this role include:
- Design and develop an Oracle Runtime solution for a large enterprise product on mixed Windows/Unix platforms implemented in C, C++, C# and Oracle technology
- Work with the architect, subject matter experts, developers and testers to ensure good design, implementation, support and quality of work
- Provide coaching and consultancy to junior engineers on technical areas
- Follow engineering and support processes
- Work closely with the Product Support, Product Information and Test teams

Mandatory skills / experiences:
- 5 to 8 years of software development experience, deep knowledge of software development life cycle and engineering processes
- Familiar with typical Unix/Oracle operations (e.g. PuTTY, NFS file share, Oracle DB Scripts, SQL Developer/Plus)
- Rich security coding experience, understand how to diagnose SQL injection attacks, rights assignment issues and the principle of least privilege
- Familiar with ODAC/ODP.NET framework and OTN (Oracle Technology Network)
- Some experience in C/C++/C# programming is expected
- Some experience about database performance tuning, understand index strategies
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills
- Excellent English skills especially oral English
- Positive open minded attitude and good teamwork
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Beneficial skills / experiences:
- Experience of SSL/TLS implementation is a big bonus
- Experience with writing code to access or administer Oracle is preferred
- Worked with calls from Windows to Unix / Linux is preferred
- Good communication/presentation skills, experience with oversea teams is a plus
