Job Summary & Objectives

· Supervise product management to ensure product sell-in and achieve the target
· Responsible for the retail merchandising function of sports footwear & apparel.

Main Duties

1.Product Management
1.1 Devise a tight and effective product mix, both footwear and apparel, for each season
1.2 Organize quarterly tradeshow
1.3 Monitor product delivery status
1.4 Monitor the sell-in and sell-through of the products, as well as the stock level, and devise action plans so as to keep the stock at a healthy level
1.5 Provide regular product training to customers
1.6 Handle all product related issues and support National Manager in product development
1.7 Update and analyze i) market and product trends ii) competitors' strategies, activities and performance and iii) recommend appropriate actions when necessary
1.8 Monitor counterfeit and parallel activities
1.9 Work closely with display team on development of retail merchandising concept
1.10 Posses strong networking in garment and accessories factories

2. Retail Merchandising Management
2.1 OTB preparation & budgeting
2.2 Merchandising planning
2.3 Inventory management and control,
2.4 Sales and GP monitoring
2.5 Supervise the buying team on buying strategies, shop allocations, deliveries and stock consolidation

3.Marketing Planning
3.1 Recommend marketing plans for the designated product categories and monitor the progress



Requirements:

1.Knowledge & skills:
Product/ brand management, people management, good communication and presentation skill, Good planning, organizing and supervisory skills; capable of using major software e.g. Microsoft word, excel, power point, etc. Able to use English, both written and oral. Knowledge in apparel merchandising is highly preferable.

2.Education, qualification and special training:
Tertiary education majored in marketing management or business administration is preferred.

3.Experience:
Minimum 5 years marketing/ product management working experience;
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a well-established retail environment, experience in footwear & apparel buying, O.T.B. calculations and budgeting is a must


4.Personality requirements:
Proactive, creative, strong sense of responsibility, attention to details, hardworking, flexible and team player.
