As a member of an entrepreneurial team focused on delivering consulting services to our customers, you will have access to an in depth Laboratory Business Intelligence platform enabling you to interpret data analytics, and provide laboratory consulting services to our customers.

This Laboratory Consultant, Data Analytics role requires expertise in transforming diverse client and market data into integrated, actionable customer intelligence and marketing strategy insights through hands-on techniques. These techniques include data mining, and building decision and optimization models.
The role also requires an ability to work with customers and help them enhance their lab operations, using data.
This role will be part of a global team of consultant’s / data analysts with global responsibilities.
This role will help our customer services organization accelerate our digital transformation for large enterprise customers, and you will be challenged with developing new laboratory optimization programs, and innovation that will elevate our company to the forefront of the digital revolution; transforming the way we present information to prospective and current customers.

The successful candidate will have strong skills in these areas:
? Laboratory Operations and Management – Experience in monitoring and maintaining balanced workload functional areas during peak and slack periods. Proven ability to drive results and develop plans and strategies to address challenges and opportunities and manage change. Experience in the acquisition, qualification, and coordination of service of laboratory instrumentation.
Data Analytics – A passion for leveraging data to drive key decisions. Demonstrated experience in merging and mining large and complex data sets (structured and unstructured) from diverse sources including relational databases.
? Analytical techniques - Develop and analyze analytical data sets, creating meaningful visualizations. Experience in developing and applying advanced statistical methods and techniques including hypothesis testing, pattern discovery, regression, cluster analysis, forecasting, classification, and optimization.
? Ability to interpret analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management. ? Be a consultant to client-facing engagement teams. This role will also interact directly with clients.
? Build scalable and reusable data mining solutions and capabilities that support our customers and large engagements.

? Bachelor's Degree
? 5-7 years’ experience working as a Laboratory Operations Specialist or Manager; preferably within a regulated pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
? 2+ years’ experience working with relational databases and at least one business analytics or data visualization tool
? Demonstrated business acumen; ability to listen and understand client requirements
? Demonstrated ability to multitask and work on multiple projects concurrently
? Team player
? Ability/experience to work across different countries and cultures would be a clear advantage
? A crisp and passionate communicator; highly developed interpersonal skills—someone who can be as effective through influence as through direct control.
? Proven verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English
