Job Description
? Develop new solutions with significant revenue potential to drive growth in China market
? Lead customer research projects using jobs-based methodology to discover underserved markets and unmet user needs
? Conduct market analysis to define an overall market landscape; includes identifying market growth opportunities, competitive threats, macroeconomic trends, potential partners and intellectual property constraints
? Develop new solutions to drive growth in underserved markets; specifically, Product conceptualization, assessing identify opportunities, prioritize solution ideas, and define/develop top business ideas
? Drive new products through the entire product development process including ideation, concept development, and prototyping, feature requirements, design, and development, user testing and go-to-market activity
? Create full business plans including revenue projections, investment requirements and all market considerations
Key Requirements
? Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
? 5-7+ years of product management experience with a proven history of product ideation, new product development and bringing new solutions to market
? Strategic, analytical thinker with a creative bent
? Excellent business acumen and problem-solving skills
? Results-oriented
? Positive, "Can-do"attitude and ability to deal with ambiguity
? Highly flexible and able to adapt to fast-moving and constantly changing environment
? Practical, hands-on experience with customer research methodologies (ethnographic, participatory and evaluative), product ideation and conceptualization techniques and go-to-market planning
? Proven ability to work in cross functional environments and with multiple business units
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
? Willingness to own details of project on tighter than normal deadlines, often acting in multiple roles, without requiring day-to-day direction from manager
? Experience with data-driven products is highly beneficial
