Position Summary
Fortress is looking to recruit a Technical support engineer to provide technical support to our customer in china. Working with an existing sales team which is already 4 people in total. The successful candidate would be working together with sales team to provide the technical support for the end users and also distributors, this role need to be involving mechanical, electrical, electronic and software elements.

There is an exciting team in China and also worldwide in UK /Australia/USA. The successful candidate would have opportunities to have the training in our Australia office in Melbourne.

Role Objectives
1. Provide the Technical support to the end users and engineering partner;
2. Provide the technical support for the new product;
3. Prepare the installation documents in Chinese;
4. Work together with Admin and marketing team for the stock management;

Position Responsibilities:
This position will report to the General Manager in the Shanghai office and duties will include;
1. Manage and update the Chinese technical documentations;
2. Prepare the technical proposal for the sales team;
3. Onsite technical support if required;
4. New product training to the customer also the distributor in China;?

Key Skills and Attributes
Required Skills and Attributes:
1. good communication written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
2. 2 years’ experience of technical support engineers
3. A Bachelor level degree or higher in a relevant subject (automation, electrical engineering)
4. Proven engineering experience in automation, electrical engineering. The successful candidate should demonstrate one out of the following three experience sets:
a. Automation background
i. PLC programming (SIEMENS/AB/Schneider-Electric)
ii. Control panel wiring
b. Safety product background
i. Engineering experience on PILZ/Euchner/SICK;
ii. Understanding of the safety level (SIL or Performance level);
