Major Responsibilities:

· Verify mortgage loan application information and evaluate application cases according to Credit Guidelines and the latest government regulations;
· Prepare quality mortgage application recommendations for approval authorities;
· Keep abreast of market best practice on mortgage loan credit risk, documentation risk, and fraud risk control etc., and share up-to-date knowledge and learning with team;
· Coordinate with relevant business units and supporting departments, such as Sales, Operations, Legal and Compliance etc. to ensure all the business, regulatory and procedure issues be well communicated and strictly adhered, in order to support a smooth loan approval and drawdown process.
· Share experience and knowledge with the screening and approval colleagues in mortgage loan application documents, screen out forged documents, and streamline mortgage approval process;
· To collect the market practice in mortgage loan application and solicitation from time to time.
· Help to process the mortgage approval effectively to ensure approval turn-around-time commitment is met;
· Assist line manager in developing and maintaining mortgage loan approval system;
· To understand the need of front line colleague on mortgage application handling and propose for change in workflow whenever necessary.

Incumbent Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years related working experience in retail mortgage lending and 6 years working experience in bank.
· Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
· Proficiency in both English and Chinese with strong English writing skills.
· Familiar with MS office
· Candidates with consumer lending / personal loan approval experience will be an advantage.
