Title:Vice Engineering Manager
Report to:Vice General Manager&Operation Manager
1. Position Summary and Mission
The Engineering Manager is responsible for taking a lead role in evaluating, designing, implementing, monitoring process improvement and providing the best solution and technical support to internal and external customers.
? Standardize the technical working procedures and improving the process design quality and efficiency
? Develop and coordinate the engineering resource/activities to meet company growth objectives (new products development, customer order requirements, manufacturing process, equipment improvement and standardization).
? Lean manufacturing support
? Cost calculation
? ERP technical data management
? Close work with R&D
2. Principal Responsibilities :
1)Prepare and maintain technical rules and instruction for designing & manufacturing of measuring tools.
2)New product development and technical research support.
3)Proposal and implementation of measures tools, equipment, processes to improve product quality and decrease costs
4)Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
5)Responsible for the site capital project organization and budget, including safe and efficient implementation of capital projects
6)Ensure the timely delivery of the required drawings, documents and products for each stage of the Project
7)Cooperate with oversea engineers and get support
8)Provide technical advice to customer through the phone, emails or customer visits.
9)Develop engineering team through sharing technical knowledge, assigning challenging jobs, and stretching people's ability to progress their career
10)Optimizing team's participation in all phases of product development
11)Arrange team meeting, organize technical discussion meeting
12)Keeping up to date ahead of competitors' processes development and competitor product performance.
13)Document management, standardization.
Requirements:
? University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relative subject
? Minimum 10 years working experiences, at least 3 years overall management experiences in Technical department. Familiar with measuring tools, experience of measurement tools manufacturing or similar industry is preferred
? Familiar with lean or 6sigma
? A desire to succeed personally and drive performance in others through leadership
? Proficiency in oral and written English
? Good Communication Skill internal & external
? Open-minded, team-spirited, self-motivated and strong cross functional ability
