Overview of the Position :
In the position, the Heavy Parts Quality Engineer will plan, design, optimize and monitor a manufacturing/fabrication quality process; provide to the work floor the quality documents; and help method engineer to ensure high quality manufactured parts efficiently in the most cost effective methods. Individual must operate on individual and collective initiatives working with technical engineers from various disciplines, and other professionals, in areas such as finance and health and safety.

Heavy Parts Quality Engineer in the Sidel context will execute the following activities and responsibilities:
？ Build and well maintain quality system frame and relevant documentation according to ISO or Pressure Vessel Industry Regulation, and at last form complete documentation system.
？ Provide support and coordination for third party audit in order to help company pass ISO or pressure vessel qualification promptly.
？ Work with the process owner to identify and review the requirements and applications in system documents, and make sure the quality system is effective.
？ Organize and carry out the internal system and process audit. Make sure all insufficient items could be corrected in time.
？ Documentation management and maintenance.
？ Approve final delivery of parts.
？ Manage a team, propose the operating budget and respect it.
？ Organize a weekly project follow up to update management on the progress.
？ Communicates with internal/external contributors (SIDEL SPA, PGPM…) and handles the flow of information between the Engineering department, Programming and Manufacturing.
？ Work strongly with purchasing and sourcing to assure that suppliers’ delivery requirements reach the desired state for fabrication stability of machined parts.
？ Create QC sheets matching with drawings in order to get checking/tracking records from operators.
？ Inspection of incoming goods, material surface treatments (ShotPeening, Pickling), welding (visual aspect, Endoscopic camera, X-Ray, Penetration test) if need.
？ Inspection of part dimensions from manufacturing and machining.
？ Participates as a presenter or reviewer in technical, or QC review.
？ To assist the Manufacturing Manager in order to establish new strategies to improve the performance of the supply chain. Participates in actions aimed to improve the global performance of SIDEL Beijing. (Cost reduction, productivity, improvement…).
？ To perform other duties assigned by the management effectively and efficiently.
？ Provides technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned task in HP.
？ Ensures that safety policies are applied in fabrication, QC and handling.
？ Work as a leader in “welding committee” of Beijing plant.
？ Participate in LEAN sessions.

Education & Languages :
？ Education: Bachelor or higher in Mechanical Engineer (5 years)
？ Technical language skills in manufacturing technology
？ English (CET-6), Chinese, Italian is a plus.

Professional Skills & Experience :
？ At least 5 years experience in quality control in manufacturing industry. The working experience at heavy part and stainless steel manufacturing is preferred
？ Experience in pressure vessel qualification is preferred
？ Must have strong follow-up skills in order to reach deadlines
？ Proficient in computer usage within Windows environment
？ At least 2 years’ experience work as quality roles or processing method engineer
？ Familiar with ISO standard series and TSG regulation (Experience in pressure vessel qualification is preferred)
？ Knowledge in welding, machining and other manufacturing methods
？ Personal Attributes: Good communication skill, Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior
？ Problem Solving: Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
？ Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
？ Judgment and Decision Making: Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
