Position: Logistics& Planning Analyst -World Famous Company
Report to: Logistics & planning manager
Location: Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province
Responsibilities:
? Responsible for performing work to achieve corporate logistics and planning performance targets focused on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results.
? Analyze raw material inventory levels, production receipts and forecast to determine monthly production arrangement within the planning cycle and vendors lead time.
? Analyze inventory and demand for opportunities to deploy inventory in central warehouse and local warehouse.
? Analyze inventory levels and identify areas where production needs to be expedited to avoid goods shortage. Review for opportunities to accelerate transfer plan, as well as disposing of excess inventory.
? Be able to retrieve data for a given inventory situation, such as over shipment to forecast or quality issue and provide an inventory allocation to the distribution channels that is aligned with business objectives.
? Work in conjunction with the Production department to track and ensure finish goods deliveries are on schedule to meet company demand. Problems addressed on a day to day basis consist of capacity constraints, raw material availability issues, late delivery issues and production issues.
? Able to address delivery issues, reviewing all pertinent details/feedback with line manager in an effort to gain resolution.
? Manage the information flow between Production and Logistics. Keep Logistics informed on product availability and production issues.
? Respond to inquiries and requests from business partners in a timely manner.
? Review and manage Product change request & cancellation on at timely basis.
? Logistic under proper operation;
? TLC passed ISO 9000 2000 version accreditation, and ISO TS 16949, ISO14000 & 18000 s;
? Safety and quality together with on time delivery rate are expected from TLC.
? Foreign company located in Zhenjiang City, in a foreign investment environment.
? Under the control of Supply Chain Director /Logistics Manager, collect, consolidate and create all necessary reports, provide strategic analysis to discover, enhance or improve processes, reduce logistics cost and decrease stock level.
Requirements
? Bachelor or Master Degree in Supply chain, Logistics and Planning.
? At least 5 years working experience with international companies in Logistic and Planning.
? Exceptional data analysis and management skills.
? Good organizational skills, proactive outside of the box thinking, strong verbal and written communication skills.
? Knowledge of lean supply chain principles, specifically those applied to pull replenishment using material replenishment tools and processes and material flow and throughput efficiency improvement.
? Manage supplier assignments, technical/functional content of deliverables.
? Requires knowledge of standard supply chain logistics and planning analytical tools.
? Present high-level briefings and represent program office as required.
? Good command of English in reading, writing and speaking, strong skills in SAP system and Microsoft Office skills are required and Microsoft Access skills are a plus.
