职位描述：
Major Responsibilities:
As a System Architect and Manager for the Advanced Development team, you will be responsible for all Architecture choices for New Products Developments from the individual optical, electrical and thermal components to the overall Architecture design where all these components come together with the mechanical design of the full luminaire in accordance with lighting standards Industrialization constraints and design guide lines. You will also be responsible to build and maintain the Technology and Cost roadmaps, actively proposing and implementing costdown scenario’s to meet the YoY price pressure in the Market.

To achieve this mission, you will
? Supervise the Advanced Development engineers (electrical, optical, thermal, and costing)
? Translate the Market Brief and Voice of the customer into various Product Architecture proposals including optical, electrical and thermal designs
? Build samples and validate its performance
? Translate Product Roadmaps into Technology and Platform Roadmap as well as Costdown Roadmaps
? Build and maintain cost models for various key system components; validate these models with and at suppliers
? Build and validate samples for various Product Architectures
? Generate Architecture validation plans with the lab and implement
? Actively engage with external LED suppliers for their latest LED roadmaps
? Propose, discuss and agree LED binning solutions with the various LED suppliers
? Qualify new LED components
? Participate in DFMEA/PFMEA discussions within the product development teams
? Actively engage in benchmarking and technology scouting
? Train and coach your own team and the whole R&D team on the latest technology developments in LED Lighting

Based in our Hong Kong head quarter, You will travel to our Guangzhou factory on a weekly basis, and all around Asia to visit our suppliers.


Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Master degree (MSc) in Electrical or Optical Engineering

Experience:
- Must have min 5 years’ experience working in a similar position
- Must have min 5 years’ experience working in international company
- Must have a proven past experience in LED System Architecture

Professional/ Specific Skills (management, technical, etc):
- Must be able to manage a team of electrical, optical and/or thermal engineers
- Led component knowledge required
- Knowledge about LED suppliers, LED roadmaps, LED binning,
- Knowledge about CCC, CQC, CE standards for lighting industry
