Position Objectives

? To assist senior consultants with project delivery and business development
? To enhance personal competency through project delivery and Mercer’s training system and guide junior consultants on how to effectively and successfully complete tasks

Key Responsibilities

? Perform actuarial valuation of client’s Defined Benefit retirement program for GAAP compliance
? Conduct research, benchmarking and analysis on employee benefits/employment terms and conditions
? Work on design of benefit/pension/savings plans and analyse costs of the designed plans
? Help clients select and liaise with vendors to provide best service to clients
? Participate in M&A projects by working on HR due diligence and post-merger harmonization assignments
? Assist in new business development

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

? 2 to 4 years of work experience is preferred; Work experience in corporate HR/C&B function, consulting firm, CPA firm or insurance company is preferred
? Familiarity with general market practices in benefits and pensions is preferred
? Actuarial background is preferred, but not a must
? Strong analytical skills and attention to details
? Excellent in project and time management; willing and able to work under tight schedule and high pressure
? Excellent interpersonal, communication and English skills
