Position Statement

The Residential Consultant is responsible for the servicing and conversion of direct in-home sales opportunities generated by Crown’s marketing efforts.
The Residential Consultant needs to follow the prescribed Crown sales methodologies and protocols in accordance with the strategies, priorities, and sales targets of the Crown Group.
This role also works closely with other internal stakeholders and ensures all sales opportunities are leveraged to maximum effect in a team selling environment.
Maintaining a high performance customer driven culture is also crucial to the success of this position.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
? Conduct sales calls in English and present Crown services to clients
? Meet and maintain weekly sales conversion targets in accordance with Crown’s KPIs
? Attend, report to and participate in sales meetings, report on competitor trends and help develop local sales strategies that meet the challenges of the market by assisting residential sales manager in preparing sales reports, doing data analysis etc
? Ensure that administrative systems are up to date and accurate at all times and data input protocols are observed and adhered to
? Maintain accurate documents and customers files
? Ensure all costs and payment terms are clearly explained to customers in order for the move managers to collect the payment prior to removal date (unless approved corporate account)
? After the call, calculate and double check the volume measurement and transferees’ requirements. Passing the same to Pricing Manager to cost the job (while costing a job is not a primary responsibility of a sales consultant, sales consultant needs to have the ability to cost a job)
? Prepare and present formal quotations to clients, enable successful negotiation and close the business

Aptitude, Knowledge and Qualifications
? Good command of spoken and written English, CET-4 is a must
? Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
? Excellent presentation skills and negotiation skills. 1-2 years B2C sales or marketing experience would be a plus
? Customer and details oriented
? Ability to work in a potentially rapidly changing environment
? Ability to set priorities, manage your time and workload and dependably meet strict deadlines
? Solution oriented approach to problem solving, results driven
? Strong cultural sensitivity and awareness
? Professional attitude and a willingness to support stakeholders in effectively doing their job

Qualifications
? Colleague graduate education certificate, or equivalent (preferred)
