Inside Sales
Sandvik is a high-technology, engineering group with advanced products and world-leading positions within selected areas. Sandvik’s operations are based on unique expertise in materials technology and extensive insight into customer processes. This combination has provided world-leading positions in selected areas - tools for metal cutting, equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries, stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials as well as process systems.
The position would directly report to Inside Sales Manager, below please refer to the job description:


Key performance area:
? To manage and execute the enquiry to order process in support of the plan and strategy set by Heating System Management
? To make offers based on Pricelists, MSP/RSP guidelines, sales tools (such as SOPIC, SSCS, Kan Doc., LN databases etc.)
? The main task is to handle enquiries, preparing offers, follow up, seek feedback to enable negotiation and to secure business.
? The Inside Sales is the primary contact for existing buying customers providing efficient support and care (analyze and understand the customer situation, characteristics and needs). Notifying sales engineers of the need for making otherwise unscheduled visits.
? Engage with customers within the frameworks set by the management.
? To work according to methodology, principles and work instructions as defined in the SMT quality management system.
? Make customer order review to qualify and accept the order or further clarify and negotiate with customers and to book those temporary orders into the SOPIC (ERP) system based on S.O.P.
? Maintaining records of customer/ prospect interaction on Sandvik SSCS (CRM) system and formally reporting important customer and competitor information.
? Receiving product & service claims from customer and make initial assessment and managing customer complaints.
? To develop and sustain a good communication with suppliers to secure good service level from them, including feedback on improvement areas.
? Basic technical support internally
? Other tasks may be assigned by Manager.


Your profile:
? BA/BS in Engineering is plus
? 2 - 3 years Sales, Sales Support or Purchasing in industrial products
? Good communication skills
? Good written English capability
As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
