Role Objectives
To meet the sourcing strategy for China business and our customers’ needs related to OEM and ODM projects.
Mission

? To drive sourcing projects of OEM/ODM in China and ASIA region and evolve related suppliers, to provide products to Fagerhult Group customers – at the right quality, at right time and at the best possible cost.


Key Operational Responsibilities
(Identification of job content in terms of outputs)
? Handle OEM & ODM projects with customers, suppliers and internal departments to achieve the project objectives
? Work with cross functional teams and make decisions on OEM/ODM supplier development and business allocation; lead commercial negotiations, secure contracts and to be responsible for supply continuity and cost compositeness.
? Work with internal team and OEM./ODM suppliers to ensure specifications are understood and communicated to everybody concerned
? Work with related parties (Logistic, suppliers, group customers)to provide cost effective & policy compliant logistic solutions for OEM / ODM projects
? Develop and manage suppliers of ODM / OEM commodity, continuous improve suppliers to be Preferred Suppliers and suitable to meet our future requirements of sourcing in China
? Deeply understand and build strong knowledge of LED supply market, cost structure and cost driving force. Analysis total cost of commodity spending, market, requirements and negotiation executing to provide a competitive cost to our group customers
? Continuously improve Quality Assurance together with SQE and Quality Dept.
? Initiate and continuously improve category management and continuous cost down plan for OEM/ODM business
? Work together with cross-functional teams to achieve KPI of sourcing team in China

Competences needed (Education / Experience / Skills / Competencies / Languages)
Education :
? University degree, preferably in engineering / business management
? Knowledge/experience in LED category
? Knowledge/experience in sourcing.
? Knowledge/experience in Quality Assurance
? Fluent English in talking and writing
? Knowledge/experience in project management
Technical Skills :
? Strong cost analysis methodology
? Strong commercial and Sourcing skills including negotiation, contract management, supplier performance management
? Good knowledge in lighting manufacturing is preferred
? Good knowledge of LED, control systems is preferred. Other lighting technologies (metal, plastic parts, surface treatment) is a plus
? Good knowledge for logistic operation is a plus
? General understanding of international trading and logistic routine
Preferred Career Experience :
? Some years of experience from development of mass-produced products, as well sourcing.
Soft Competencies :
? Strong Customer focus
? Business minded, ability to find new opportunities
? Good talent in communication and co-operation
? Knowledge of legal matters, agreement managing
? Good knowledge in product calculations and pricing, and cost analysis
? Good in negotiations?

Global : Communication with our global Group customers. In a global environment providing information and products to internal customers within the Fagerhult Group

Regional : Good knowledge of the Chinese and Asian lighting product supplier market.
