Responsibilities
Understanding the technical capabilities of our existing supply base and ensuring the new products are sourced with the right strategic sourcing partners.
Analyzing the technology roadmap for future products and helping to develop a supply chain that can support new technologies and processes.
Providing DFM/DFA feedback to R&D by utilizing supply chain engineering resources
Responsible for the supply chain architecture in new product development.
Owning the "where to buy" portion of the Make vs. Buy process.
Developing potential new suppliers and technologies, including ensuring validation of processes at supplier facilities as needed to support new product launch
Tracking cost and cost modeling for new products.
Being the main point of contact for R&D and Advanced Operations

Requreis
A solid understanding of good manufacturing practices and process development. Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) experience preferred
Experience troubleshooting or developing manufacturing processes within one or more of the following areas: Plastics (Injection Molding), Machining, Assembly, Electronics, Sterilization, Fabrication.
Good understanding of quality system functions, such as PPAP and APQP. Familiarity with ISO quality systems and auditing is a plus.
Excellent motivation, communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to document engineering changes, audit findings, write engineering protocols and reports.
Proficiency in analyzing and correcting complex process issues using independent thinking and decision making
Ability to plan, organize and implement multiple concurrent tasks
Ability to quickly develop strong relationships within a large organization
3-15 years of related experience (5+ preferred)
