职位描述：
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Design and development of new products
? Develop mechanical product design and layout for new generation products that reflect the product concept and functional requirements.
? Contribute to the overall design, analysis, documentation and functional validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
? Participate in mechanical engineering evaluation and test to validate the robustness and proper performance of new products.
? Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the successful development and launch of new products.
? Contribute to the development of mechanical tooling and production part qualification.
? Utilize best-in-class tools to develop innovative mechanical solutions to highly complex problems
? Assist direct support personnel in all mechanical related activities throughout the product development cycle
? Give technical advice and instructions and support actively on the supplier side when critical parts have to be sourced
? Solve technical issues, support production / assembly layout etc.
? Conceptualize ways of providing new and improved value to our customers
EDUCATION

? Bachelors or above in Mechanical Engineering;

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
? 7 years of experience as a practicing mechanical engineer
? Experience of participating in the development of products from inception (marketing direction) to production
? Experience of developing products with electronics and moving parts with a strong focus on home appliances
? A strong knowledge of injection molding and plastics
? Involvement in developing a combination of high volume components/products and mid-complex product assemblies
? The timely preparation of accurate, well-planned program proposals and estimates
? Experience with compliance certification and accompanying regulation protocols

DESIRED SKILLS

? knowledge/experience in designing coffee machines will be an asset
? Product/process developing skill (CAD/CAM/CAE)
? Positive attitude towards solving problems
? Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance and performing statistical tolerance analysis
? Team player ability to work in cross‐functional teams
? Leadership skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills
? Results and deadline driven
? Works with minimal supervision on complex efforts on the mechanical development of components and subsystems of devices
? Flexibility and adaptability of approach, focused on finding a workable solution to every problem
? Technically proficient (mechanism development, materials, processes, FEA, etc.)
