Job Description

Product Quality Manager for accessory and print products -currently shared with desktop quality team, need specific expertise especial lyin print products and accessories which are a hybrid of modules and final products requiring skills in each area.

Lead cradle to grave quality efforts including quality planning and post launch tracking of all quality aspects of these products, need statistical analysis capability as well as expertise in DOEs.

The Product Quality Manager has overall responsibility for the quality of Mac Accessories through entire product life cycle.

The PQM will work in conjunction with the New Production Introduction group as well as a cross functional team of

Design, Supplier Quality, Test, Service and Technical Program Engineers to ensure that top quality products and services from

various suppliers and drive excellence into everything we do.

Responsibilities:

Provide overall ownership of the quality of Mac Accessories

Lead quality aspects of supplier selection and development activities

Own and drive Product Quality effort, develop and implement the product quality plan for each new product.

Drive lessons learned into designs and use predictive methods to anticipate and avoid quality issue early in development cycle.

Maintain open quality issues and drive to closure prior to mass production start.

Provide leadership and drive quality expectations with suppliers through direct interaction and continuous communications.

Drive continuous yield improvement activities with suppliers.

Track supplier performance through objective measurement systems as well as audits and returns. Implement communication

plan, providing summary and corrective action plans through life cycle of products.

Escalate key concerns and options for resolutions to senior management.

Skills and Experience:

Demonstrated technical skills including experience and thorough understanding of Assembly, Test, Pack-out, processes.

Highly motivated and ability to drive closure of issues across cultures.

In depth knowledge in quality methodologies with command of tools including statistical analysis, DOE, FMEA etc.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability toconcisely understand and communicate issues and lead a team to solution.
