Job Purpose:
? The offline channel development manager will lead the cool-chain business exploration particularly on Fresh Milk and Yogurt. The role will realize the Kia Ora Milk project prototype and upgrade it to a massive sales model.
? To manage the business operations of key sales partners under his/ her charge with the necessary professional skills in areas of Account Planning, Business Development, Negotiation, Promotion Evaluation, Channel & Category management and Merchandising.
? Achieve sales revenue/ volume targets, key categories growth targets and profitability.
? To achieve high revenue and volume growth through well thought out business development plans and via creative promotions and impactful merchandising.

Key Accountabilities:
? Lead the development of an offline sales strategy (this could include channels such as food service (e.g. hotels, restaurants, bakery chains), and strategic sales partners (e.g. private schools, kindergartens, high-end supermarkets).
? Assist project head to set business targets.
? Collecting, analysing reviewing and reporting business progress against the assigned targets.
? Build up a distribution network; leading the evaluation and selection of the best sales partnersin a short period of time.
? Maintain sales partner profiles and continuous flow of information on market condition, sales, competitors’ activities, trade stocks and update performances of Key Accounts.
? Evaluate promotions carried out with full analysis of achievement against objectives and recommendation on improvements for future campaigns.
? Responsible for effective and timely execution of all agreed key account related activities. Keep a good control on receivables.
? Manage external customers, and distributors to achieve allocated business targets (including but not limited to; volume, value, trade spending, EBIT).
? Identify gaps in resource, in the business model and what is required to fill the gaps, work effectively with other parts of the Fonterra business, or external contractors as necessary to fill those gaps.
? Coordinate related internal interfaces such as New Zealand operations, Finance, Marketing and Channel Marketing to ensure smooth supply and seamless promotion activity.
? Support the team in the day to day management of China logisitics partners (clearance agents, and last mile chilled delivery partners).
? Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to the project, and ways to grow the business exponentially (e.g. utilising data driven insights).
? Assist the team in further developing and understanding of the end consumer, collecting data and consumer insights.
