职位描述

RESPONSIBILITIES
1 It shall be the responsibility of the Plant Wide Supplier Quality Manager to indoctrinate this document, and assure that all the functions carried out by each personnel of the department is in harmony with the outline of the document.
2 It shall be the responsibility of the individual employees within the department to perform their functions as outlined within this document in a professional and expedient manner.
3 It shall be responsibility of the human resources manager to ensure that the duties outline in this job description is appropriate and compliance with all applicable laws.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
1 The Supplier Quality Manager shall report to the Plant Wide Supplier Quality Manager.

JOB SUMMARY
1 Lead the group of supplier quality engineers to become a technical focal point to the material purchasing, Business Manager, and design group for any material quality and technical problem in the site, work with RCM for material local sourcing and cost reduction, ensure the materials local sourced with low costs and high quality.
2 To monitor and work problem component issues directly with manufacturer and communicate status of non-conforming parts/suppliers across all programs.
3 Together with the group, operate with a high level of efficiency, integrity, and enthusiasm, striving to active excellence (and avoid mediocrity) in all endeavors. Be creative and proactive contributor on the material team, focus on continuous improvement.
4 Compliance to Jabil Shanghai EHS policy & requirement.
PREREQUISITES
1 B.S. degree with at least 8 years of experience in component engineering/supplier quality, proactive, highly motivate, self start.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1 lead the component engineering group to perform following tasks in accordance to their documented policy and procedure (if applicable) in a timely and efficient manner.
2 Work with GSDM to support design group, Business Unit Management, and material purchasing in identifying, sourcing and implementation of new/ alternate components that are of equal or greater performance without compromising quality at a total cost savings.
3 To be the focal person for all quality and functional issues that stem from components being purchased for manufacturing.
4 To develop, implement and maintain a "Component Data Module" that will allow system users to identify like components used on other programs with their authorized manufacturers while standardization the description entry for each commodity and ensuring data integrity.
5 Monitor and drive PPM issues with the supply base in addition to helping them achieve "Dock to Stock" certified with Jabil (in accordance to the vendor performance system).
6 Drive supplier selection strategies that will yield a supply base that can be used across all customer programs providing a leverage cost savings.
7 Continue their education and functional development.
8 Perform tasks as assigned by department manager.
9 Cooperate and communicate closely with customer on supplier quality procedure, supplier qualification, item approvals and AVL updating.
10 Coordinate with other department on the functions, in case necessary organize teams for the component engineering issues.
11 EHS responsibilities
11.1 Be responsible for providing manpower and finance support to ensure
11.2 Control work-related incident or accidents, save energy and fresh water, sort waste and reduce waste.
11.3 Arrange a designated employee as an EHS coordinator who is responsible for EHS routines in the department.
11.4 Ensure employees to attend three-level EHS training (plant-level, Dept-level and position-level)
11.5 Be responsible for managing suppliers and vendors' EHS activities and ensure suppliers and vendors meet our plant EHS requirement.
11.6 Establish & keep record for EHS operation.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1 To be proficient and knowledgeable in all areas related to the purchasing functions.
2 To be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written media.
3 To maintain a through knowledge of and adherence to company policies and procedure
4 To be dependable and conscientious in work performance.
5 To be flexible and available to work overtime as needed.
