ey Responsibilities:
the primary purpose of manager is to drive a lean manufacturing planning system and continuous improvement, support of global automotive factory in Suzhou, China; key responsible for production and material planning, customer service, warehouse and import / export
develop and maintain a well-trained and highly motivated staff capable of performing all supply chain functions and playing a key role in meeting the growth goals; recommend professional training programs aimed at elevating employee techniques and managerial skills
carries out corporate supply chain initiatives, including actively participating on supply chain management team, developing metrics, and implementing initiatives
develops and manages supply chain budget / material expenditure budget
actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement
work closely with the production team to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved
manage customer order / forecast to ensure 100% on time delivery and avoid premium freight
schedule shipping plan to meet all sales orders on time and in the most efficient manner
liaise with other related departments as necessary to ensure the build plan is achievable
ensures that products meet requirement standards
develops and refines the production and inventory control systems for efficient production and inventory scheduling and to provide ideal turn ratio
responsible for ensuring completed products are forwarded to the domestic business sites in a timely manner and at the optimum cost
represent the company with a professional image when dealing with customer for any order and delivery issue
effectively leads and manages department associates in meeting corporate and site goals and initiatives
provides leadership role in setting up and maintaining a receiving department inspection process
ensures ongoing, effective communications
maintains effective working relationships with other associates, departments, sites and corporate staff
comply with EHS system’s requirements
Key Requirements:
at least seven to ten years in planning, import / export and warehouse management, relevant experience in well-regarded automobile products organizations
strong skills in oral and written communications skills in English
proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Power point
self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure
college / university graduate
in addition, a significant line management experience within a manufacturing organization would be a strong plus. Ideally the preferred candidate could be viewed as successor to higher-level organizational positions
leadership skills: able to demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities to the organization, thereby helping to influence the cultural values of key constituencies within the supply chain, and the other units across the company
change management: able to lead major organizational change and anticipate / avoid roadblocks; able to crate an environment of continuous improvement to help insure state-of-the-art procurement strategies and tactic.
financial acumen: provides a perspective of overall cost implications of procurement choices for the company; able to develop and implement an overall risk management strategy
