Qualities:
? Be a people person and enjoy sales;
? Outgoing and motivated with an excellent sense of how to engage and influence clients
? Strongly proactive, self motivated with a “can achieve” attitude
? Fast leaner with ability to work without constant supervision; receptive to feedback
? Good communicator and willing to help team members – able to collaborate with others on team based sales (larger projects)
? Detail-oriented and reliable, follows through on commitments
Functional Responsibilities:
? Business development and sales activities that identify, qualify and close sales opportunities according to a monthly and annual quota.
? Building a presence and brand influence in Shanghai and surrounds within key sectors of property, construction, architect and design, education and healthcare firms. Create and manage a key accounts and client database.
? Support business development strategy for company teams – provide feedback on products and service
? Service existing accounts with high levels of customer service
? Network actively in the local business communities to gain market intelligence on existing and potential clients.
? Identify new business opportunities based upon ideal customer profile, and analyze market intelligence information. Gather and prepare information about potential clients and projects.
? Create and conduct sales presentations to customers and offer products/solutions that meet client’s expectations.
? Update weekly new lead opportunities, existing quotations status, ideas to improve the team, etc. to the associate sales director. Attend and report to regular sales meetings. Keep good perosnal sales records including win and loss reports.
? Coordinate technical solutions with Shanghai Technical Resources Center
Requirements:
? University degree or similar equivalent
? 3-5 years of experience in team management
? 3- 5 years experience in sales with a good to excellent sales record
? A network and contacts list in areas that will support success in the role.
? Experience in selling to the office or commercial sectors/industries a strong plus
? Native Mandarin speaker with conversational or business level English oral, writing and reading skills
